as a screenwriter and storyteller for the better part of a decade, I've developed a diverse body of work for both film and television. From best friends surviving the zombie apocalypse while running a Brooklyn Bodega, tales of the corporate afterlife, the minds behind the greatest film and TV monsters, to my most recent script about epileptics and alien hunters which placed at the Austin Film Festival.
But unfortunately they all can't just sit up here on the interwebs. But I'd definitely be happy to give you guys a peak, and if you like what you see you can contact me and we can talk further about any of my projects. So below are a few writing samples and the script to a short or two currently in pre production.
The Chicken Scene
This scene was one of the first things I ever wrote, it was performed on stage, and seems to follow me around, so this seemed like a good place to share it. Here is an excerpt from my feature film Outside Portland. CLICK HERE.
The Importance of Zeppelin
This next scene is about something near and dear to my heart, Led Zeppelin. It is from my zombie movie Paradise Deli, a story of two best friends running a bodega in the zombie apocalypse. But as you will see death and destruction still doesn't change who the greatest rock band of all time is. CLICK HERE.
Fifty Shades of Elvish
As young special effects studio owners Ida and Hunter assemble a rag tag team of artists, their search leads them to some strange places. For example an X-Men porn parody set in the San Fernando Valley. But sparks can fly anywhere, and sometimes all it takes is a little elvish, check out this scene from the pilot of Effected. Seven to Nine
Finally here is a short about how hard it is to be young and beautiful while having to work a dead end job. Oh and be a demon with an unquenchable thirst for human flesh, especially H&M employees' flesh. This script is currently in preproduction, so check it out, and hopefully you can see it soon. TOTALLY YELPING THIS
In the opening moments of The Nervous System, current epileptic and soon-to-be alien hunter Sam experiences an array of emotions. Most of them are anxious. CLICK HERE for a scene from the pilot making its rounds in the competition scene.
